Since it's no longer possible to find useful information through search engines, guess I'll just ask here: Does anyone know how - on Windows 11 Pro - to convert an existing Microsoft account into a Local account? I'm comfortable with the command line, registry, and manipulating the system from a live USB. Any help would be appreciated!
P.S. I'm not limiting this to official solutions - I'm very comfortable hacking on the registry or system files.
Edit: solved! See the solution here: sylveon.social/notes/a55oku7ay…

open settings application > accounts > your info > sign in with a local account insteadat least, that did work a year ago, unless something changed

the thing is that windows is prone to randomly requesting that recovery key, already happened to faer a few times
when using microsoft accounts, it's stored on a microsoft account, but well, you aren't connected to microsoft account anymore
